Most detox teas have some sort of laxative, however, that should be considered the second part of a detox combination. Herbs like red clover, dandelion root, yellow dock, etc. are cleansing to the
blood and lymphatic sytem, liver, gall bladder, and spleen. Teas are milder than tinctures or capsules, but if you do something more intense I think it is good to take adaptogens to manage cortisol
levels, because detoxing can cause internal stress in the body, resulting in inflammation.
